No Bake Cookies feat. Nutella.
Alright already. Nutella is a tasty masterpiece standing alone. when I lived in Moscow, I bought and ran out of this stuff a lot, and I was only there for a short time. I came home discouraged about possibly never having it again. There was no need for discouragement, though, you see, Nutella can be purchased at most grocery stores, duh!
here's my recipe. these were soo good (but not good for you? oatmeal is a great source of fiber, no? here's to health!) I made them again the same day we were all out. heh.
2 cups Sugar
4 tbsp Cocoa
1 Stick butter
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup Nutella
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp vanilla
3-4 cups oatmeal (depending on how thick you want those cookies.)
2 tbs chocolate syrup. (<-- this is for real, friends.)
in a heavy saucepan bring sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk to a boil. let boil for one minute. (uno momento por favor.) add peanut butter, NUTELLA, vanilla, chocolate syrup, and oatmeal. MIX GOOD and FAST as to not burn any of the goodness. Drop and cool on wax paper. Or if you're cool like me, line your baking pans with tin foil and cool them on that.
CROCKPOT CREAMY CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP. yes please.
this is my very own recipe. my very first very own. and it is so good. after finishing Joe asked me to make it again REAL soon. so i'm not just patting myself on the back here. anyway, it's not as if it's hard to make, so I'm not being too proud. (insert winking face here.)
3 big chicken breasts
1 can chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup (I have an excellent gluten free, homemade version of this, i'll post at the bottom of this recipe.)
1 can black beans (drained)
1 can creamed corn (gross, I know, but not in a soup!)
1 cup salsa
1 pack taco seasoning
4 oz cream cheese
1 tbs garlic
1/4 cup chopped onions
put all ingredients into your crockpot. turn it on high if your chicken is frozen (mine was.) and cook it for 6 hours. Make sure to stir every once in awhile to break up the chicken, you want it nice and shredded. serve with FRITOS SCOOPS or Tortilla Chips and top with shredded cheese and sour cream! It is SO good. I'm proud of it.
Gluten Free Cream of Chicken Soup Mix
2 cups dry milk
3/4 cups cornstarch
1/4 cup chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp tarragon
So, when I bought all these ingredients it was a big expense for me. I didn't like how much I was spending when a can is like.. a buck or something. But this mix makes a nice size, that lasts quite a long time. All you do is put 1/3 cup of this into a saucepan with 1 cup water on medium heat, whisk/stir constantly and once it's nice and thick, it's ready! You'll never notice a difference.
xo.

4 count it.:
i like your pictures and your recipes. I'm starting to realize that I like to cook as well. I made a cilantro lime rice on wednesday that I ate way too much of, so it was good. :)
You are such a talented little thing! And I saw that your recipe has already been pinned a lot! Famous.
Oh. And I looked at your Park City photos on your other blog, and gurrrl. Those pictures are gorgeous. Seriously. You have the best skills.
Your soup sounds YUMMY! I want to make it!
I'm gonna try this for Super Bowl Sunday! I can't wait. It looks and sounds yummy.
